    Description

    Vintage hand carved Mosaic wooden box of mother of pearl design, 4.25" x 6.25". My in-laws bought this trinket box in Egypt in 1973 (as etched on the bottom). It's a lovely design, but shows some wear as it is missing 2 narrow bands of mother of pearl on the top center as well as a couple of little pieces on 2 sides. Each corner is missing some of the pieces. None of these missing pieces are too noticeable when you glance at it as the designs blend with the wood. The hinges are great, and the inside is pristine. Great for your collection of Egyptian items AND practical for keeping jewelry or other treasures.
